Olufayo Henry Seeks Support of Ife East Constituents, Unveils Eight-Point Development Agenda

Modakeke, Osun State — Hon. Olufayo Oladapo Henry, a prospective candidate for the Osun State House of Assembly representing Ife East Constituency, has appealed to the people of Modakeke and other residents of the constituency to support his political ambition in the forthcoming election, assuring them that he would not disappoint them if elected.

Henry made the appeal while outlining his development plans for the constituency, emphasising his commitment to improving the welfare of residents through effective representation, accessible healthcare, infrastructural development, youth empowerment, and transparent leadership.

As part of his proposed development blueprint, he unveiled an eight-point agenda designed to address critical challenges facing the constituency.

The agenda focuses on education and youth development; roads and infrastructure; water and sanitation; healthcare; jobs and economic opportunities; women and family support; security and community safety; and transparency and accountability.

He explained that the agenda would guide his approach to legislative representation and community development, with the ultimate goal of improving living standards and creating opportunities for residents across the constituency.

Free Medical Outreach Benefits Over 2,000 Residents

In a demonstration of his commitment to community welfare, Henry organised a free medical outreach that reportedly benefited more than 2,000 people across Ife East Constituency.

The programme provided beneficiaries with free medical check-ups, drugs, medical glasses, and other healthcare services aimed at improving access to essential medical care.

The initiative formed part of efforts to address healthcare needs among residents, particularly those who may find it difficult to afford medical services.

The outreach also provided an opportunity for healthcare professionals to educate beneficiaries on the importance of maintaining good health, following medical advice, and seeking prompt medical attention when necessary.

AAC Chairman Highlights Party's Commitment to Public Welfare

Speaking at the programme, the party chairman, Comrade Temitope Adeyemi, said the African Action Congress (AAC) was committed to prioritising the welfare of Nigerians and promoting leadership focused on service to the people.

Adeyemi stated that the party was not interested in winning public support through the distribution of money or rice but wanted to earn the people's confidence through its commitment to good governance and improved living conditions.

He further explained that the party's approach to its internal processes was aimed at attracting individuals who were genuinely prepared to serve the public rather than pursue political office for personal gain.

According to him, the AAC remains committed to building a political platform that places the interests of ordinary citizens at the centre of its activities.

Party PRO Educates Voters on Voting Procedures

The party's Public Relations Officer, Comrade Akinlade Semiu, also addressed the gathering, educating residents on the voting process and explaining how to identify the AAC logo on the ballot paper.

He encouraged eligible voters to become familiar with the party's symbol and ensure that their votes counted during the forthcoming election.

Semiu urged the people to support the party, expressing confidence that the AAC would not disappoint them if given the opportunity to serve.

Henry Thanks Supporters, Calls for Sowore's Presidential Bid

In his closing remarks, Henry expressed appreciation to everyone who attended the medical outreach and supported the initiative.

He urged beneficiaries to take their health seriously and adhere to the advice and recommendations provided by medical professionals during the programme.
